Had this fruit blend in Gurney Plaza. Just a couple of ice and a mixture of fresh fruit for the equivalent price of iced blended in Coffee Bean.

There are also two (2) power ups options (i. Bee Pollen, ii. 'cannot remember') supposedly good for our immune system though.

KFC playground

Had dinner @ KFC on Saturday, this is the children playground for all the customers kids to indulge in to preoccupy themselves while the parents can enjoy their meals in peace.

Cosmic Leisure Cafe (Prangin Mall)

It's a nice place to have a relaxing afternoon alfresco style. Mostly breezey and also food stuff are reasonable priced. Located in Prangin Mall. If one look up into the sky, sometime you can see a majestic eagle soaring high above.

Char Kuey Teow 2-2

This is the the other place where the Char Kuey Teow is considered delicious. Its located along Kimberly Street and you will not miss this restaurant located on the left hand side (it's a one way street). The uncle cook dish per dish and there is an option of duck egg as well (strongly recommended)

There is also a stall selling "Yong Tau Foo" at the same place. Very nice to have a change in diet sometime.

High Tide

Was strolling along Gurney the other day and it was high tide (a rare occassion). The reflections of the multi colored buildings located at the end (or beginning) is nicer in reality. There were eight people at the beach. Many of them comprises of children.

Char Kuey Teow 1-2

This uncle serves Char Kuey Teow using the traditional charcoal cooking method. Very nice and delicious. Located opposite the "padang" along the same side as the Penang Buddhist Association.

Tang Thong for lunch. Very cheap only RM8 for two sets. Located adjacent to the famous Chendol stall along Penang Road. However, dunno why today its so warm inside the shop.

"Teh Ais Limau" translated as Iced Lime Tea.
Quenching my thirst at the mamak along Gurney after walking @ Gurney Plaza to digest my chicken rice lunch in Swatow Lane.
Today there was less breeze than usual, so only had one drink and went back home.
Take note that this drink varies from mamak to mamak.

CNY deco.

Was at Gurney Plaza today and took a picture from one of the high floor of the CNY decoration. Pretty elagant right?

Sony Ericsson w850i

This is the latest collection of mobile phones that I have acquired. Purpose is to try out the 3G available Video Call.

This phone is packed with features (should be as it is a new Walkman series from SE). Of course they also come with the Black colour. Somehow I find that this "golden white" colour makes it look more "pure".

The video call camera is acceptable but not as clear as the Samsung latest HSDPA z560. The Samsung is simply unchallenged for their colour and their camera. As seen below there are some functions to be used when playing music and these exterior controls are operated via touched screen that also glows - pretty cool!
HSDPA too makes the downloading of Maxis TV quite speedy. (btw ... Discovery mobile sucks big time as they never update their contents enough)

Bali Hai

Had a nice family dinner here. Food is reasonably priced. Seafood served here and their slogan is something that goes like "If it swims, we have it here"

no.75

no.75 GURNEY - looks like a nice cosy place. There is a new eating place names "CHASERS" and planned to try it out sometime. Have some special at the Garden from 6pm - 9pm

Supper time

This stall only serves for the nocturnal. Operates from 230am onwards until early morning.

G hotel

This is the latest chain of hotels along Gurney Road, located adjacent to Gurney Plaza. Its pre-opening and the building looks grand. The color changing lights at the entrance differentiate itself from others. I personally feel that plenty can still be done to improve its appearance namely the blue LEDs that literally blinds the guest when they are walking up the steps.

Last Night's Dinner

Yummy !
This was our sumptious dinner last night. Usually we come to this shop @ "Kuanta Hall", PG for the Duck rice. I decided to reduce the intake of duck meat so decided to have Chicken Chop instead.
Also the price is reasonable @ RM5.50 per serving.

1st Picture uploaded from my w850i to my Blog

观音 temple in Penang. Lots of history behind this and there was a interesting topic during the WWII Japanese Occupation how several bombs dropped into the temple compound and did not detonate.
观音 aka. CANON (in Japanese) is the Goddess of Mercy. Should one feel the need for her precense, simple chant "Namo Guan Shi Yin Pu Sar".
